What would you do if you got a second shot at life? Class of 1989, Mike O'Donnell is a star on his high school basketball court with a college scout in the stands and a bright future in his grasp. But instead, he decides to throw it all away to share his life with his girlfriend Scarlett and the baby he just learned they are expecting. Almost 20 years later, Mike's glory days are decidedly behind him. His marriage to Scarlett has fallen apart, he has been passed over for a promotion at work, his teenage kids think he is a loser, and he has been reduced to crashing with his high school nerd-turned-techno-billionaire best friend Ned. But Mike is given another chance when he is miraculously transformed back to the age of 17. Unfortunately, Mike may look 17 again, but his thirtysomething outlook is totally uncool in the class of 2009. And in trying to recapture his best years, Mike could lose the best things that ever happened to him.

It's not easy being Wolverine, the X-Men's toughest mutant superhero -- just ask Hugh Jackman.

The Aussie actor, who's played the role in four "X-Men" movies, including his upcoming spin-off, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," said getting into superhero shape is serious business.

"I was probably training for a year before we started," Hugh told Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson. "That was the key."

He revealed that he spent an hour-and-a-half every day in training to get the buff body he showcases in the movie, and getting there took a super-mindset.

"I work out imagining I'm Wolverine," he said. "Wolverine to me is the guy that when everybody else quits, that's where he begins. I think that's why people love him."

But Hugh said the biggest change was in his diet.

"I think we've wiped out entire gene pools of chickens," he said. "I know to any vegetarians out there, I really apologize. It's just so much tofu you can eat."

The product of his work is evident on screen -- and at home.

"At first [my wife] was like, 'Hugh, this is ridiculous, look at you,'" he said.

"'I don't know who you are -- now get into bed,'" he continued, laughing.

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is due in theaters May 1.

What's The Story

Benjamin Button, born in New Orleans in 1918, is no ordinary infant. A doctor declares his body to be aged like that of a man in his eighties, and no one expects him to live too long. Despite predictions, Benjamin survives, seeming in fact to grow younger and stronger. During his childhood he befriends young Daisy, who is unafraid of the "old man." Rate The Day the Earth Stood Still

What's The Story

This modern sci-fi thriller is a reimagining of a 1951 classic film which was in itself a reimagining of a 1940 short story. We know that the movie has been updated from its Cold War mentality, but the details of the plot are being guarded more closely than the crashed saucer at Area 51. We do know, however, that an alien named Klaatu arrives on Earth with an important mission, a mission which baffles both scientific and government authorities, but touches the heart of a young widow and her stepson.

The very first college class in science fiction was taught by Sam Moskowitz, editor of the magazine Science Fiction+. Harry Bates, author of the short story that inspired The Day the Earth Stood Still, was scheduled as a guest speaker at the class, but deliberately failed to show up as revenge for some edits Moskowitz had forced him to make on one of his stories.
